An Emmy-winning editor and writer with a deep drive to tell stories, focusing on feature length films and narrative series.
Nina Ijäs work has screened around the world at prominent festivals like Nordisk Panorama, Docpoint, CPH:DOCS and DMZ Docs, and won the prizes Best International Feature at HotDocs, an Emmy award for best international documentary (“Hope Frozen”), the Big Screen award at Rotterdam Film Festival (“Raptures”) and the grand prize at EBS International Documentary Festival in Korea (“Family in the Bubble”).
She has graduated with an MA in film editing from Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture and Musashino Bijutsu Daigaku. Member of the Finnish Cinema Editors association F.C.E.
